Must Do Things in Vegas for Fun Loving Families of All Ages

Finding family friendly things to do in Las Vegas that the whole family can do can be hard. But we have an activity that everyone will enjoy.

Are you hoping to take your growing family to Las Vegas this year? If so, why not consider booking a stay at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino? It is home to a Fun Dungeon, swimming pool and Tournament of Kings dinner show that the kids may adore. In addition, there is free shuttle service available from the hotel to one of the best must do things in Vegas, Pole Position Raceway!

Pole Position Raceway is an indoor activity that is fun for all ages. Both the building’s interior and the shuttle are climate controlled. The comfortable shuttle runs daily, year round, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will take you from the hotel straight to the indoor raceway. All you need to do is call the raceway staff in advance and request a pick-up.

Once the Pole Position Raceway shuttle arrives, load your family into the vehicle and head off for some high octane fun. Providing that you sign a minor release liability form and your kids are 48 inches tall or more, they can drive their own electric-powered karts around the track.

And don’t worry. We want to keep the kids safe too. That’s why we outfit them with high-quality racing helmets, headsocks and well maintained seat harnesses before they ever have a chance to set a closed-toe shoe onto the gas pedal. Plus, our youth karts only reach speeds up to 25 miles per hour.

Each race lasts roughly 10 minutes and all participants will get to see their results on a keepsake printout. When you’re finished racing, just buckle the family back into the Pole Position Raceway shuttle and we’ll drop you back off at the Excalibur Hotel. From there, you can always hit the hotel swimming pool or Castle Walk.
