Murrieta is a great place to spend time with those you enjoy
Whether you're looking for something to do with your family or you're looking to start one, Murrieta is a great place to spend time with those you enjoy. Bookmark this guide and share this article with friends! Have a safe and adventurous weekend!
The Santa Rosa Plateau is a perfect place to spend time for those down-to-earth, outdoorsy types. It's a short drive going West off the 15 freeway, exit Clinton Keith Road. Hikers ages 2-12 pay $3 and it's $4 for hikers 12 and up. Pay at the visitors center, then take a few hours to explore the famous Adobe structures, seasonal vernal pools, and the indigenous flora and fauna. This land used to be owned by Juan Moreno, a contemporary of Pio Pico, the last Mexican governor of the Territory of California but was sold for a mere $1000 dollars in 1855. Here is a detailed map of the plateau.
If you've got allergies and the outdoors are not your cup of tea, then try heading over to Pole Position's Murrieta location! We are open 7 days a week, getting our motors running daily at 11 a.m. We close at 9 p.m. during the week, 11 p.m. on weekends and at 7 on Sunday.
