Independence Day Party: Go-Kart Excitement for Your Fourth of July Weekend

Why not do something a little different this year?

Summer is fast approaching, and as the calendar pages flip, we get closer to Independence Day weekend. All across the country, people will spend a few days celebrating our country's freedom, remembering the sacrifices that were made to get us there, and host large parties with family and friends. Watching a fantastic fireworks display is an activity that can be found on almost everyone's list, but what can you do before it gets dark? A lot of people have large backyard cookouts or spend the day at a park. These are certainly fun options, but why not do something a little different this year?

Get Out of the Sun

There's no denying that the heat can get a bit unbearable in the bright summer months. It's fun for a while, but spending the whole day outside, constantly applying sunblock and desperately looking for shade can get old fast. Change the scenery this year and celebrate with your family inside, where it's cool and there's no risk of sunburn. At Pole Position Raceway, you can experience a day of thrilling entertainment as you race in comfort within our indoor, climate controlled facility.

Friendly Competition

When a large family or group of friends gather together it's only natural to want to challenge one another to see who can emerge victoriously. In the backyard or at the park you might play games like ring toss or volleyball, and while these activities can be fun, they're not very thrilling. They're not going to get your adrenaline rushing or your blood pumping. It's competition at its finest. So, come celebrate by challenging your uncle or your best friend to a friendly lap or two to see who is the ultimate go-kart racer of all time.

Quality Time

You might spend a portion of your day in a go-kart by yourself, but that doesn't mean you won't have a chance to spend quality time with your friends and family. Being part of a group activity, where everyone involved is giving it their all or cheering from the sidelines, is a great way to make lasting memories. Take pictures of your friends or family as they speed around the track, cheer your brother or sister on from the sidelines, and celebrate each other's victories. It's a great way to spend the day and create a holiday celebration you won't soon forget.

This year, change things up and add some excitement to the festivities. You'll be glad you did. If you're interested in hosting an Indepence Day party this year for friends or family, please don't hesitate to contact us for more information.
