WORLD'S FASTEST ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Technology continues to change every day and it's fun to witness. Whether it's with cell phones that feature video chat or high-performance race cars that have suspension that can be fine-tuned in real time by programmers on another continent, the speed at which advances are made has been very impressive. It's this man-made evolution that prompted Pole Position Raceway to invest millions of dollars since 2005 in an effort to create state-of-the-art electric karts that can be enjoyed by millions of racers around the world. Fast forward to 2011 and high-performance electric karts such as our Formula EK20 have quickly become the kart of choice for indoor racing. No longer do gas karts have a performance advantage in any aspect, and the entire karting industry is shifting to electric power, and has been for the past few years. Originally people assumed incorrectly that electric karts were all about eliminating the stinky fumes of gas karts and saving the environment. Although those are two huge advantages that we are proud to employ, the primary reason that electric karts have become the number one choice is performance. Simply put, electric karts produce more torque, offer quicker throttle response, make exceptional midrange power, and are much easier to fine-tune for equal and competitive racing, period! Those of you who have raced electric karts already understand the advantage, so we wanted to show you what other people have been doing with electric power in the highly competitive world of motorsports.
