Fun Things to do in Corona when Family Visits from Out-of-Town

Looking for something fun to do in Corona with family in town? Start a new family tradition.

The holidays are in full swing, and that means many people are hosting out-of-town guests. Some families have the tradition of coming together for a few days, exchanging presents, hanging out, and looking for other fun things to do in Corona. If you're looking for something different and new to do with your guests, think about a visit to Pole Position Raceway.

Not everyone is as fortunate as those in Corona to have a state-of-the-art indoor go-kart track, so come try it out. Of course, you could go bowling again, play Monopoly until you're bored to tears, or try to stay awake while listening to another one of Uncle Ned's stories that he has already told three times ... and that's just today.

The answer is obvious. Break out of the rut and do something fun and different. Children over 48 inches tall can drive their own smaller kart, while adults and kids over 58 inches can experience the full-size version. These electric karts sit very low, to give you an experience when you're flying around our 1/4 mile track at speeds up to 45mph. That is the closest to real racing as you can get.

With our Arrive & Drive program, there's no need to plan ahead, simply show up, and we'll get you ready to race. If you've got a bigger family, consider making reservations with one of our group events. This allows your family to have privileges such as private races, food, and perhaps even a trophy for participants.

When family comes to visit this year, step out of the normal routine and do something different. Pole Position Raceway provides the fun while you make memories that Uncle Ned will be retelling for years to come. You may just start a new tradition and can look back on this as the first annual family race day.  For more information on how we can make your family event special, contact us.
